The Holidays have been a staple of the Universal Orlando Resort for decades now, and it’s even one of the few events to span across all of its parks! Although we already knew that the Holidays would be returning this year, we now have official information about what the event will look like!

Starting November 12, 2022 and lasting until January 1, 2023, Universal Orlando Resort will be celebrating the Holidays across their entire resort! From transforming Seuss Landing into Whoville, to the return of the Macy’s Holiday parade, this year is going to be packed with so much to experience!

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s has become a staple of the event. And along with other parades at Universal, each year that it returns it continues to get better and better. Of course as always, we’ll be able to see plenty of popular characters in the parade featured in the highly decorated floats and massive balloons. However, the highlight of the parade each year is also returning! This year the parade will once again culminate in a massive celebration as Santa Claus makes an appearance to light the incredible 80-foot Christmas Tree located in Central Park!

However, Universal Studios isn’t the only park receiving Holiday cheer this year. We are also seeing the return of the beloved live show Grinchmas! The Who’s are returning to Seuss Landing in Islands of Adventure, and they’ll be completely redecorating the entire land and participating is fun meet n greets! The star of the show, the Grinch himself, will also be making a grand appearance.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be prepared for Christmas as well! ‘Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ will see the return of many Holiday themed performances from the Frog Choir, comprised of Hogwarts students and their giant croaking frogs, in Hogsmeade, as well as Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees, in Diagon Alley!And of course as soon as night falls we’ll see the return of “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” nighttime projection mapping spectacular displayed on the Hogwarts Castle in Universal’s Islands of Adventure!

Mannheim Steamroller

And lastly, but not least, the classic and best-selling holiday artist of all time, Mannheim Steamroller, is returning to the Music Plaza in Universal Studios Florida on four separate occasions! You can catch the live act on December 3, 4, 10 and 11 this year.

Although these are all the specific details that we have from Universal Orlando Resort, you can definitely count on experiencing so much more this Holiday season!
