The Weeknd has been long rumored for HHN31 ever since the infamous Billie Eilish house got ripped from our hands in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But now, it’s official! The Weeknd will be arriving at Halloween Horror Nights with their own original house. This is what Universal Orlando has to say about the new experience.

Prepare to enter the macabre mind of The Weeknd in this haunted house as he stalks your squad through the surreal nightmare of his After Hours music. A slasher carving a smile at an otherworldly rave. Bandaged maniacs performing extreme plastic surgery. A grotesque mannequin masquerade. His nightmare is now yours.

It will be interesting to see how the creative team twists the pop culture phenomenon’s music video imagery into a terrifying living beast. They definitely have my attention with this house, but maybe for nothing else then pure skepticism and morbid curiosity. After Hours, a popular album from The Weeknd, has been praised for its now modern, iconic aesthetic, and their commitment to presenting a cohesive story across all forms of media.

If you want, or need, to catch up on the storyline of After Hours, which is spread across multiple music videos, check out our article that breaks down each video in order and explains the storyline.

The question is now for you! Are you a ‘The Weeknd’ fan, and are you excited to experience the grisly imagination of The Weeknd at Halloween Horror Nights 2022? Let us know down below in the comments! Also be sure to check out our “Buyers Guide” to HHN Season Passes before you visit!

Jonathan Holt grew up in Central Florida and fell in love with the Theme Parks and creative culture of Orlando at a young age.

“Some of my earliest childhood memories are filled with trips to Disney and Universal with my family. The way the parks transported me to another world where it was okay to laugh and scream directly impacted the way I saw the world growing up. As an adult now, the parks still hold a very special place in my heart. The parks that we love, hold so much magic that they remind us what it’s like to be a kid again. My dream is to build a community that is able to have child-like joy together while talking about and experiencing the parks.”
