Ever since reopening from the pandemic related closures, the Walt Disney Company has implemented a park reservation system that has both frustrated and confused many guests. Disney Genie Plus Includes More Rides Now!
When the service initially launched, each of the four Walt Disney World parks excluded two (2) attractions from the base Genie Plus system and were only available for up-charge, individual attraction selection “Lightning Lane” purchases. However, soon after launch the resort experimented with incorporating a handful of these Lightning Lane attractions into the standard $15 baseline service. These attractions included: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Expedition Everest, Frozen Ever After and Space Mountain.
