Top of the World Lounge FINALLY Reopens!

One of, if not the, most legendary fireworks viewing spots in Walt Disney World is about to reopen just in time for Enchantment’s twice a night viewing schedule! Top of the World Lounge is restaurant and bar that sits on top of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The resort is located right next door to the world’s most popular theme park, Magic Kingdom, and provides a jaw dropping viewing experience of the park’s nightly fireworks show.

On July 11th, the Top of the World lounge will officially reopen; however, it will only be available to “eligible” members for the time being according to Disney. This resort is a popular choice for Disney Vacation Club members. If you’re planning to enjoy a nightly viewing of Enchantment atop the luxury lounge, be sure to call ahead about availability as “eligibility” is still a vague clause in their press release.

However, if you can snag a table above the Magic Kingdom, the lounge is offering a limited time new menu themed to some of Disney’s most despicable villains. Are you planning on enjoying a depraved feast of villainy and riches at the Top of the World Lounge? If so, let us know in the comments below! And while you’re down there, be sure to sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date with all things theme parks!

Jonathan Holt

Jonathan Holt grew up in Central Florida and fell in love with the Theme Parks and creative culture of Orlando at a young age.

“Some of my earliest childhood memories are filled with trips to Disney and Universal with my family. The way the parks transported me to another world where it was okay to laugh and scream directly impacted the way I saw the world growing up. As an adult now, the parks still hold a very special place in my heart. The parks that we love, hold so much magic that they remind us what it’s like to be a kid again. My dream is to build a community that is able to have child-like joy together while talking about and experiencing the parks.”
