One of the joys of being a Halloween Horror Nights fan is looking forward to all the speculation and rumors that surrounds the upcoming event each year. So let the speculation begin! @HHNightmares on Twitter has become quite well-known in the fandom for their HHN Spec Maps, and the time has come for version 1.0 for what the HHN 32 season could possibly look like!

Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida has been a fan favorite ever since its opening in 2004. However, with almost two decades of operation under its belt, a refurbishment of the attraction has been long overdue. Late in 2021 Universal Orlando Resort officially announced the temporary closure of Revenge of the Mummy for a lengthy overhaul, and ever since January 6, 2022, the attraction has sat silent. That is until now.

Universal Orlando Resort has OFFICIALLY revealed ALL five scare zones that will be at Halloween Horror Nights 2022 this year! Unlike the uncharacteristic drop of all the houses at once that also happened this morning (August 16, 2022), in previous years Universal has been known to announce all street scare zones at once. So let’s dive into the announcements!

Today, June 7th of 2022, marks the 32nd anniversary of Universal Studios Florida’s opening! It’s hard to put into words how much of an impact this park has had on the theme park industry, community, and my own personal life. Universal sent a shockwave through the industry back in the late 1980’s when they announced their intentions to expand into Orlando, Florida. Universal, a division of MCA at the time, was known for their studio backlot tour located on the sets of their Hollywood film studio, but wasn’t yet known for their presence in the themed entertainment industry.
