Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida has been a fan favorite ever since its opening in 2004. However, with almost two decades of operation under its belt, a refurbishment of the attraction has been long overdue. Late in 2021 Universal Orlando Resort officially announced the temporary closure of Revenge of the Mummy for a lengthy overhaul, and ever since January 6, 2022, the attraction has sat silent. That is until now.

Halloween Horror Nights is a staple of Universal Orlando Resort, and each year the event grows in both size and popularity. Because of its constant growth, the event continues to push itself into a multiple-day type of event because there’s so much to do and experience. This is great for fans of the event that live locally because it gives us all an excuse to come back and visit time and time again; however, it also makes the event seem daunting to guests that can only visit for one night. Universal’s Great Movie Escape is coming to CityWalk Orlando THIS FALL. Universal Orlando Resort have officially announced two new escape room experiences will be coming to the resort in Fall of 2022. These two new rooms will be themed to Back to the Future and Jurassic World.

Today, June 7th of 2022, marks the 32nd anniversary of Universal Studios Florida’s opening! It’s hard to put into words how much of an impact this park has had on the theme park industry, community, and my own personal life. Universal sent a shockwave through the industry back in the late 1980’s when they announced their intentions to expand into Orlando, Florida. Universal, a division of MCA at the time, was known for their studio backlot tour located on the sets of their Hollywood film studio, but wasn’t yet known for their presence in the themed entertainment industry.
